Sea/See

In my most humble opinion, I seriously think we should kiss and see where it goes.
See where the blue waves of confusion will take us and where our boat rows.
In search of warmth, we should take a swim in the cold, instead of only dipping our toes.
Shoot our feelings out in the night sky, and potentially regret it with a good cry.

Many feelings unreciprocated, the amount of tears trickling to be one with the sea, & words blathered.
I’ve been scattered, battered, with my heart on a platter, losing touch of what mattered.
If things are ruined, broke, and wrecked, it will most probably be out of love.
So raise your hands up in the sky, our sledgehammers will fall from above.

We can always smash the boat we’re on, and lie between the hot & cold.
Well at least I have you to like, as a companion in this lonely world.
We can always rewind the movies we’d watch together in our heads.
As we lay there, in relief though tired of life, missing our fluffy pillows and beds.

I might come off as too strong; it’s just that it’s been so long. Too long.
Hold my hand, tussle my hair, pinch my nose, at least do something!
I’m not just sending signals to those on land to reply, yet all I can do is let out a sigh.
If that’s what you want then find by me, then don’t rock the boat and kindly leave me be.

But why not gamble it all? I can take a chance. A love replied, leads to a silly happy dance.
This boat’s getting boring, why not grab my hand and we’ll skip through it all even the thunders blaring.
As we reach destination, we’ll see how time sinks our boats with not a single goodbye.
Above water, something better, instead of leaving our hearts opened only to dry.
